Fall is here!

This week we talked about the new season we are in and the changes we are seeing- specifically, the leaves changing colour.  We finger painted fall trees which are being displayed in our classroom and we made tissue paper leaves that are also being displayed in our classroom.  We talked about the colours that we see in fall to make both of these crafts.

We read stories about fall:  “Fall Leaves Fall!” and “Mouse’s First Fall”.

We took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and had part of our gym time outside.  On Wednesday and Thursday this week we set up a mini Terry Fox Run for the students in the field.  They ran and walked around the pylons we set up.  They had a great time and enjoyed playing with chalk and bubbles after.
