Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun in Pre-K on our Halloween Activities days!  We had our faces painted, played Halloween BINGO, decorated Halloween treat bags and Halloween masks and played ghost bowling and ring toss.  Thanks to the parent volunteers that helped us out!

Wednesday and Thursday this week we started our new bears unit.  The month of November we will be doing different crafts, songs and literacy activities that focus on bears and other animals.  Ask your child about the new vet clinic in our classroom!

We will be reading “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” quite often.  This is a great repetitive story where we can learn about animals and colours.  It is neat to see how quickly children can read along with this story!  Here is the read aloud: Story

We will also be singing: “We’re Going On a Bear Hunt”.  This is a great song for learning positional concepts such as over and under and is also just a fun song with great movement actions. Here is the song: Song
