Happy Thanksgiving to all Pre-K families! We had a wonderful week in Pre-K learning about Fall and Thanksgiving. We read a super fun book called “If You’re Thankful and You Know It” where we were able to learn more about the season of fall and what we are thankful for. When you read/listen to this story it is similar to the song “If You’re Happy and You Know It”. The Kiboomers (Kids Music Channel on youtube with tons of great songs for preschool aged children) also have a song that is to the tune of “If You’re Happy and You Know It” that we were able to sing and do the actions to.
We were able to make coffee filter turkey’s this week that were sent home. We used our fine motor skills through colouring and gluing and also learned about the facial features of a turkey. You can ask your child why a turkey has a beak and what do they use their eyes for?
