Happy Halloween everyone! We had so much fun on our Halloween activities days in Pre-K this week! We sang and danced to Halloween songs, we had some new fun Halloween play centers and games and we got to go outside for a Halloween treasure hunt. Thank you to the parents that volunteered to bring us in fun, yummy Halloween snacks.
On Monday and Thursday this week we read a story about bats and completed a bat craft. We read “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat”. This is a fun, repetitive story that allows the opportunity for you to ask your child what is coming next. You can also ask your child what words rhyme or sound the same as bat. We made a fun bat craft where we used cut up string to glue onto our bat shape that is flying in the sky.
