For the last two weeks we have been focusing on kindness in Pre-K. We have read stories, sang songs and completed crafts that have all taught us how we can be kind and how we make ourselves and others feel when we are kind. We made kindness hearts for our friendship tree in our classroom. Check out all the ways we came up with that we can be kind!
We focused on the stories: “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” and “The Rainbow Fish” to help us learn about kindness. We did a fun rainbow fish craft where we were able to paint, cut, glue and decorate. Ask your child why their fish has one sparkly scale and then read the story linked below! You can also have your child show you their rainbow fish in the hallway!
Wednesday, February 27th and Thursday, February 28th we had Pink Shirt Day in Pre-K and celebrated kindness. It was so nice to see so many students in pink on these days! Next week we will be transitioning into some St. Patrick’s Day activities and will have a new dramatic play center!
