The last two weeks in Pre-K we have been doing all sorts of fun Easter activities! We made Easter baskets with eggs that spelled our names and we also went on a letter scavenger hunt where we had to find eggs and discover what letter was in each egg to match our sheet. Both of these activities were such a fun way to practice our letter recognition skills!
This week we enjoyed making bunny headbands where we were able to practice our colouring and cutting skills and we had fun wearing these and singing our “The Way The Bunny Hops” song. Our question of the week was: “Would you rather decorate eggs or go on an Easter egg hunt?”. To end our fun Easter activities we were able to incorporate both activities with an Easter egg hunt in the classroom where we found chalkboard eggs that we were then able to decorate with chalk.
We also have been enjoying a new dramatic play center. In our new movie theatre we can be the concession worker, giving out movie tickets and popcorn, we can watch the show, or we can be the puppeteers and put on the show. Everyone is having so much fun taking turns engaging in all of the roles.
