This week we continued with our winter theme and we learned about snow and snowflakes. We made coffee filter snowflakes that are hanging in our room- we are continuing to work on our scissor skills! We got outside to play in the snow and even brought some snow back into our room. Our sand table has been converted into a water table (and sometimes a snow table!) so that we can learn more about snow and water.
We read the book “Pete the Cat Snow Daze”. This book was especially appropriate for our T/TH kids who had no school on Thursday due to the weather, just like Pete in the story. We discussed all of the fun things we can do in the snow. We have also been singing the song “Little Snowflake” at the end of every day.
